Pinkish orange sea star with small anemone-like patches. Diameter: aprox. 8 inches

Habitat:

Tide pools at Seal Cove, San Francisco. Cold, rocky water.

Notes:

When you touch the skin of this sea star the patches of anemone-like patches retract and give the star a spotted look.
