Eastern boxelder bug

Description:

This bug is black with red markings grows to about 1 inch in length, can fly if necessary but usually crawls or stays in one area. These bugs live in large groups on the trunk of one main type of tree and it's fallen leaves then onto adjoining objects such as the fence or house siding . These bugs bore holes into the tree trunk and are not effected by standard insecticides nor unconventional sprays like oven cleaner, bleach, starch, window cleaner and etc. They seem to thrive in all types of weather

Habitat:

This bug lives primarily on one/in type of tree and its fallen leaves. The tree is riddled with bored out holes from this bug. They have multiplied and spread onto adjoining surfaces (for example the wood fence, bricks, house, lawn furniture, and etc.). The entire yard and it's contents are infested. When threatened the group moves just out of direct danger.

Notes:

Do not know how to control pr exterminate these bugs. What can be done to rid this bug from yard?
