Hi Seema! This duck is best described as a hybrid mallard and not a mutant. Duclair ducks are classic hybrid Mallards with green heads, white bibs, and solid brown, black, or even blue-gray bodies. Interspecific hybrids can be bred by mating two species, normally within the same genus.
