A tiny caterpilar about 6 to 8 mm long and 1 mm wide.
Could be. Lets put this up on bug guide. I am not sure if sawfly larva are this tiny.
He's a very technical guy. I think not lepidopteran but we need to see leg details, face etc. Hymenoptera? Symphyta?
Martin L would probably call this a grub.
Is that a plastic flower Hema? :)
