Sobralia sp
Terrestrial an epiphytic plants with cane-like stems erect or elongated, leathery leaves tightly folded and with prominent veins. Successively flowering, terminal inflorescence, short-lived flowers, (sometimes just one day) large and very showy, free sepals and petals, lip trumpet-shaped, often with wavy margins, slender column with wings. These plants grow in all types of forests, however, it is common to find them growing in disturbed sites at the edge of roads or exposed to much light on walls. They bloom all year round.
