Black, fuzzy caterpillar with red feet. There are a couple long yellowish hairs on each end.

I suspect this is the Painted Tiger Moth since we had eggs hatch his past fall nearby.
My bad - I will eventually learn to check the spotting location on the app :)
Thank you for the suggestion Chaenorrhinum but those aren't in our area. They're in the eastern half of the US.
