Agave attenuata
Its stems reach 50 to 150 cm in length, eventually old leaves fall leaving him naked and visible. The leaves are ovate, acuminate, 70 cm long and 12-16 cm wide, gray to yellow-green, pale. The inflorescence is a dense cluster of 2.5 to 3 meters high, with flowers of yellow-green.
Recent studies have located in Jalisco, east of the State of Mexico, on small hills with heights of 1.900 to 2.500 m. However, very few specimens have been found, so it is considered that agave is very rare in the wild.
A wild specimen of this species was sent to the Botanic Gardens, Kew (England) by the explorer Galeotti in 1834, from an unspecified location in central Mexico
