Wild Turkey

Meleagris gallopavo

Notes:

Wild Turkeys are regulars in the foothills of Colorado - these prints are in the backyard of my parents' house, 20 feet below the deck, under the birdfeeders.

Thanks! We see them all the time! They go up and down the valley every day and usually cross in the back yard of my parents' house or one of the neighbors. You should see in the spring they come thru with their dozen little chicks in tow! They are very skittish...they run quickly away!
