Project Noah Nature School
approx. 2 1/4 inches
spotted on walkway at hostel on the Baru River
I don't believe this poor fellow was still alive because it didn't react to either the woasp or the fly.
Or maybe dropped by a bird. I've searched the silk moth larvae but to no avail. I thought the "fingers" toward the front and the distinctly slanted rear end would be clues.
How interesting. Perhaps it was parasitized as well. One of the silk moths.
