Description:

Its a nocturnal and arboreal lizard. Its called tuko in our country because of its vocalization. Its food ranges from small insects,lizards and I have even seen it captures little mice and attacks on small birds nest .

Habitat:

It lives on a wide range of habitats like upland and lowland forests, and even adapted to live on urban areas .Its a useful creature when living in a house where it eats roaches and domestic centipedes and even leftover foods.
