Spotting

Description:

Baby turtle about as big around as a quarter. Pretty green pattern on shell. Yellow underside with black spotting. Yellow stripes on neck. Was told it was a type of "slider"... The kind of turtle always seen in ponds. I always thought those were snapping turtles. Guess not.. ?

Habitat:

Found in a small, grassy pool of water that drained from our pond after it flooded.

Notes:

Good swimmer, and likes to sun.
