Silverfish

Ctenolepisma sp.

Description:

A small, stout, silverfish with pale legs and three "tails". Primarily nocturnal, they like to hide in dark, damp places. These ones tend to be found outside.

Habitat:

Suburban yard. Found at night on the wall bordering the moth sheet.

Nice spotting! I remember these were around our house when I was a child but I never looked at one closely. Now it's interesting to see just what it looks like. :)
