Bullhorn Acacia

Acacia cornigera

Habitat:

Found in a tropical forest in northern Colombia.

Notes:

I don't remember the name, but it was a really cool tree. It was small (but I'm not sure how tall it gets), it has thorns and is inhabited by ants. The ants protect the tree of the shadows of other trees by destroying them. Then this tree gets enough sun light. It was pretty cool!

It seems it don't occurs in Colombia.

Inside the horns lives a red small ants very aggressive. that protect the tree from other insects.
