About 2 inches long. Brown body with white markings along the side. Distinctive markings on wings.

Rural SW Pennsylvania

Notes:

This is an immature female. When mature, the abdomen is almost totally white. Wings of the female have dark markings on the ends. Males also have alternating wing panels but the tips of the wings are clear.
