Sharpshooter

Description:

Never payed much attention to these "jumping seeds", until I found the hoppers mission here on Noah, and they are fascinating, and impossible for an amateur to ID.

This shape of hopper is also known as a sharpshooter. http://naturalhistory.museumwales.ac.uk/...

I find that is often the way - the naked eye just can't pick up the detail that a good macro shot can. I am sure you will have plenty on opportunities to capture these & other interesting bugs! I've also "upgraded" my equipment is the hope of capturing more detail!

Thanks! Wish I dedicated more time to photograph them, as I didn't actually see the full detail until I was sitting on my computer here at home.
Well, let's hope there's a next time. Already have better equipment.
