Do you have any additional views of this caterpillar? I agree that this is a "hornworm", a sphinx moth caterpillar. It is a different species than Manduca quinquemaculata. M. quinquemaculata has eight V-shaped stripes. This caterpillar has seven diagonal stripes. http://bugguide.net/node/view/5011

This one reminds me somewhat of a Rustic Sphinx, Manduca rustica: http://bugguide.net/node/view/3774

However, I would need to see the head and the horn to be more certain.

Yea i agree with medusasnake123 that is a tomato horn worm they come in many different colors and their horns also vary in colors also
