Fulmarus glacialis
The Fulmar is a member of the tubenoses which includes the more famous Albatrosses. This bird was circling the steep north cliffs of Jersey looking for a ledge on which to nest.
Mostly a bird of the open oceans, fulmars return to cliffs to breed in the spring.
