Gray Tree Frog (a pair)

Habitat:

These two frogs chose to live in under the lid of our propane tank. They brought a bit of mud up with them to make it cozier.

Notes:

They'd have gone completely unnoticed if the squirrels hadn't stained the tank with black walnut. I went out to wash it down one day, noticed it was oddly muddy under the lid so rinsed that out and one of the clumps of mud moved. One of them clumped itself up like the rest of the hardware; The other flattened out trying to mimic terrain. When this was not successful on top of the tank (I'd washed most of the mud away) it flopped to the ground and gave it another go. Unfortunately, my attempts to remove the stains over the next few days eventually chased them pair off.
