This Great Blue Heron was spotted while driving through Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. It is a year-round resident in Oklahoma and one of the largest birds found in the state.

Habitat:

Great blue herons live near marshes, swamps, rivers and lakes.
