Feral Pigs

Sus scrofa

Description:

Feral Pigs are fairly common in the cypress slough. Not large animals, about the size of a big dog. Various colors from black to rusty red to spotted. Considered a nuisance.

Habitat:

Common through out Florida. All habitats. Considered a nuisance.

Notes:

I see these pigs on my every trip to the slough, very common. Oblivious to humans. Once I touched one with my camera monopod, the beast didnt even blink.
