I'd agree. I think I've seen the same plant on that trail. Strange to see this plant where it is... unclear whether it was an unusual planting or if it spread to that location.
This seems to match the orchid published as a Dendrobium hybrid (antelope type) in the Bishop Museum occasional papers on page 2 of this publication:

This species is cultivated in Hawaii, but is also highly invasive here. See the link above for more information.
