I have a son who can look down and find a four-leaf clover any day-I never can even though I spent my childhood searching for them.
One day while walking to my car from work in Davidson, NC I noticed some clover and I stopped to look since they remind me of my son. They had little red hearts on them!!
I researched and found that they are somewhat rare. I contacted the Biology department at Davidson College near where I found them and they didn't care much although they were very nice. Same with my colleagues who were not nearly as excited about them as I was.
I transplanted some to my yard in Cornelius, NC and am working hard to help them spread. My neighbors think I am working on getting better grass but really I am pulling out grass to make room for these to spread. :)
I just love these. :) They remind me of David-maybe I already said that.
