Sign In to followThis may be the Virginia Tiger Moth caterpillar. There are variations in the species. They can be lighter or darker in color and some are hairier than others found in the same region. You may want to look at the different photos online.
These grow in many places and there are some in the back of my yard. I have seen Dame's Rocket flowers for many years. My Mother use to grow them as well.
As I suggested in the ID, it is an Eastern Fence Lizard. They are native to Georgia and other states further north of Georgia. I use to keep them when younger.
