What a beautiful picture, they are majestic animals. Well done!
It could be a rhinoceros beetle... Or a Hercules beetle... Somehow the head doesn't seem to fit. But that's maybe because it is a young animal. Very impressive and a nice shot! The bugs from Equador are legend... I really would like to see it once myself.
Great picture, just beautiful!
I've been to San Diego in 2011, and I think it's gorgeous! I've been to Tucson/ Arizona this year in February, but I plan to fly again next year, so visiting San Diego would be clearly an option :)
Hi Ava, thank you! It is a very thoughtful and interesting project... And fun too! I'm from Germany, but I'm often in the States. Part of my family lives in Arizona and California.
Thanks, you're right!
Thank you! :)
To see such a wild animal in its natural habitat has been one of the nicest things I have ever experienced while being outdoors. A cousin from Tucson and I were hiking in the Saguaro National Park and there it was on the narrow path. Fascinating and scary in the the same time!
Thanks a lot, I wasn't 100% sure anyway! Have you seen the other pictures? On the 2nd you can see the head more detailed. Is that an albino python around your neck?
Great picture, just gorgeous! I've seen until now just the adult ones...
