Sign In to followWeird. The X. susurrans does not come in the Hilty & Brown Colombia Birds guide. it does mention that X. picus is also found in this area. How can I distinguish them from each other?

after looking at all the pics froms the guide and photos online, i am leaning more towards it being a social flycatcher. thanks for all of the help.
thank you. ya most animals do not like to be flipped over, though i wanted to show the ventral coloration in case it helps with the IDing. it was brief and the little froggy is burrowed under dead palm fronds like i found him. it was not harmed. :)
