A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
there's no spider in the pic, just the web. i didn't see the spider...
It's a little out of it's mapped range, but this looks like a green treefrog - Hyla cinerea. Check it out at http://www.npwrc.usgs.gov/resource/herps...
No, I'm sorry, I do not. When I take pics, I do try to get multiple ones so I have good ones, but this is the only one that turned good...
that one looks old :)
Yes, I am aware of all of these things. We try to keep them as close as possible to their natural habitat while moving them far enough away from the roadway that they will not turn around and get right back on the road to meet their end. We see just as many dead on the road as alive, and saving them from the roadway is sometimes unsafe for us and difficult for them, but necessary, as these are threatened because they are unaware of the dangers of the roads. We are aware of the laws concerning wildlife and do not break them.
Thanks for the comment. It is important that people are aware of all the things involved with wildlife.
I just learned what an arthropod is. I thought arthropods were something that they are, but not exclusively. Thank you. :)
Thank you, NuwanChanthuranga! I had trouble deciding between the two, which it was... now I know for sure. :)
Thanks! I'm not sure about either... My first thought was cherry.
