A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
I have a wide variety of interests, including fossils and nature. I have been studying nature in New Mexico for several years.
Sign In to followThanks for the help! I did some research and it looks like Corbicula manilensis is no longer a valid scientific name. The asiatic clam can be either Corbicula fluminea or Corbicula fluminalis. I chose fluminalis because it matches my specimen better.
Thanks for helping ID it. I am going with northern water snake.
Beautiful photography! That is our state bird here in New Mexico.
That's a beautiful flower!
That fish has good camouflage! It took me some time to pick it out.
Ok thanks for the info. I will try to ID it.
Ok thanks. The map is the right area.
Nice shot! Maybe a night heron?
Nice spotting! I've usually seen their nests in cattails.
