OH!!!! I LOVE vultures!!!!
Hippy description: Vutures are the ultimate caretakers of the Earth! They consume disease and bacteria, then purify it before putting it back into the Earth. Their feces is sterile. Also their only form of self defense is to make themselves "undesirable" by vomiting on themselves to ward off predators. They are also very energy conscious and will always ride the wind current as opposed to flying whenever they can. They have such a bad rep considering how awesome they are!

He (or she) was so cool. Hung out on our Bouganvilla bush for about a week. I had no idea they were so bad-ass! I figured they ate little bugs......turns out they'll eat snakes, black widows and even humming birds. Crazy!

This one was in someones yard, in a butterfly garden.

I was really surprised how close I got to them- and how that mama wasn't about to move. I didn't realize they were so maternal.

Oooops, thought i posted some pics already....I didn't. Doing it now. This one is about as big around my pinky now, maybe a little bigger. Been out there for about 2 weeks since first spotting.
