Thanks! I thought they were the offspring, little did I know they were mites. The beetle did not seem to mind that it had so many mites on it. It surprised me how well the mites could hang on after the beetle smacked into the wall a few times.
It most likely is a eastern pipistrelle (aka tri color). Small in size and I have been told it could be the moisture on its fur that gives it the white look, however i was not sure. I would never wake up a bat in hibernation, and WNS has made it's way here however i did not see any cases in this cave. I wash my clothes between cave visits just to make sure.
