Looks like a giant clump of mycelium but I don't do fungi I'm into botany
they realy love to bite and some are hard as heck to get off with out hurting them
intresting ive nvr heard of one of these
plz add to my mission saphrophytes of the appalachians
and its not a mushroom its a plant that dosnt photosynthisize
Have these in NC cool looking bugs
Love these i find them commonly in NC where I live along with worm snakes
