A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
New to Project noah, but certainly not new to being curious about all things nature!
Sign In to followmaybe a lung lichen? I am not very sure about that. lichens are VERY difficult to identify. especially for a beginner like me ;)
I have two of these at home. I have one "banana" and one "luna" croton. I am currently cloning both of them. Great house plant.
Did it have white spots anywhere on its body? if it did, it might be a bold jumping spider
Looks to me like some sort of a leaf hopper.
genus: ophion.
Sorry jocelyn, i was talking to a support helper before i added my ID, i did not see your post, but i think we found the same species so that means we definitely got it right!
The actual refrence i used to figure out what type of spider this was, was a book called "spiders of the north woods" by Larry Weber.
I just spotted one of these today! i tried to get a picture but it flew away too soon. I will do some research and see if i can get some info.
By the way, i love your page.
i would like to find these, just to learn more about them. Any tips?
