Do you think it's native or planted? It looks like the native silver maple: Acer saccharinum. Did you find any of the seed helicopters? They would be pretty big: 2 or 2-1/2 inches long.
No, it's not Pinus strobus, which has needles in clusters of five. How long are the needles? An inch or two?
