Gorgeous Blue Jay! I have a spotting of a nest full of baby Blue Jay's that you might like, http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/149... . They were so beautiful, I witnessed as they gradually obtained their regal blue color, when they were really young they were mostly gray.
Your welcome! I agree, we are very lucky here in Mississippi, we have so much beautiful and diverse wildlife, and for a Reptile and Amphibian lover like myself, its heaven! Hope to see many more sightings!
Thats one thing I have found out about Toad's in general, they make great photographic subjects. They seem to be content with letting me take pictures of them most of the time, I guess they are thinking "Well if whatever is hovering over me is stupid enough to try and eat me, there going to get sick!" :)
Nice shot! Thanks for joining Mississippi Wild!
Another nice shot! He is perfectly camouflaged for his environment!

Beautiful! Thanks for joining Mississippi Wild!
Beautiful snake! I come from the south, and they look very similar to our common water snakes, possibly a little darker though. So sad that so many of these get purposely ran over or otherwise killed because people "Assume" there Cottonmouths. Hopefully photos like this that are identified correctly will help save some of these guys! Great shot! Noah
Thanks! I hope to upload more from my collection soon! Its warm weather in Mississippi, great time for spotting reptiles and amphibians! Noah
