A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Hi Injica,
Thx for the suggestion. I'm not sure I'll follow youre suggestion since Adela rufimitrella does not seem to appear in this region (although Cauchas rufimitrella does, but this species looks slightly different). Could it be that the length of the antennae is gender specific, being much longer for males? Possibly its also a nomenclature issue, I'm not certain.
Cheers,
Peter
Thanks for all for the nice comments! What honor to feature as fun fact on Facebook... For those who like the read more on the 'immortality' of hydra might want to read the sources denoted on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydra_(genu...).
No, didn't take a spore print, so no help from that ;)
Thanks, it's an old one but since I liked the picture I decided to share it anyway.
Any suggestions on what species this might be?
Ziet er eerder uit als de echte koekoeksbloem (Lychnis flos-cuculi L.). Staan vaak op natte plekken, kan dit kloppen?
Thanks for confirming, I was indeed quite unsure about the species. Normally I write the scientific name in the id field, but it seems not to save this field properly, that's why I also denote it in the notes field.
