These look so different from other swallowtail cats. I have had a couple in my garden many years ago that I found on my pentas. I had no idea what they were and collected them to see what they became. One finally wrap itself up in a couple remaining leaves and the other just died. Wish I had known what they were but, I was expecting them to form chrysalis like the Monarchs. Would love to find some again, now that I know a little better. Thanks for the pics and the info:]
I found a pair of these on my pintas several years ago. I've been wondering what they were since then. Good to finally know.
