but this fruit looks edible...
I have tasted 2-3 varieties of the Syzigium in S. California..
but the unidentified fruit does not look like one...it was solid and spotted..

Yes Neil..even the leaves look like syzgium...but nt sure abt fruits...the fruits were nt spongy like that of syzgium and did nt look like edible...
