Cool series, Neil!!
Wow, REALLY nice find!
Nice shots Neil, and congrats on #300!
Ha, love it!
Wow, that thing looks like an ecosystem all on its own.
NICE shot. The scientific name for this bird is Ardea pacifica (http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/species/...).
Nice shots. I think you can safely say Litoria sp. but I can't tell if it's a Red-eyed Tree Frog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litoria_chl...) or a Dainty Tree-Frog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dainty_gree...). According to Wikipedia they are closely related and difficult to tell apart. The main difference is the yellow stripe from nostril to behind the eye on dainty tree frogs... but I'm still not willing to call it either way!
I agree with Mark's diagnosis of Pobblebonk (Limnodynastes dumerili). According to the Frogs of Australia website, there are only six types of frog in your area so the list of suspects is short. I think Pobblebonk is a pretty safe bet. http://frogs.org.au/frogs/ofSA/Clare_Val...
