Sign In to followWow, this is really pretty. I thought it would be easy to identify with those bright colours, but I can't figure out what it is. I will ask around and hopefully someone will know. : )
Did you know that these bees were introduced to Australia? Here's a great page with heaps of info about them. http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_...
Thanks Marta, it is cute - except for the second shot where its tongue is sticking out! It looks a bit creepy in that one! ; )
That's awesome, Carolyn, keep it up. : ) I notice some other users have made suggestions for IDs on some of your spottings - it's good to enter the scientific name if you have it, otherwise the Project Noah app technically still classifies your spottings as 'unidentified'.
Thanks Ava! Ernst, I couldn't agree with you more. : )
Thanks Marta & Leuba! Leuba, I don't think it taught me much either... ; )
Thanks Mac. This one was a character.
Thanks Mac and Argy! I shall name this one Thommo... as in 'Thommo the Bazza'.
Cool spotting. Apparently these snakes can grow up to 10 feet in length! How big was this one?
