Thanks Joshua. This bird was flying along side the ship and I was able to get plenty of photos from my balcony with my 100-400mm lens.

Thanks Mark. Today was a mild day around 48F, but 4 days ago we got 6 inches of wet heavy snow. There were around 75 of these birds in the fields at this location today, and 2 weeks ago there was the largest flock of House Finches I've ever seen with at least 300 birds.
