Great shot, I like the angle you got it from. I've been trying to get some "bug in flight" pictures, but I always end up with a wing blurring the face or body - This top angle gives a nice view.
Amazing. That's a great observation, and great job documenting & researching it too.
Awesome. I've seen this deer a few times at Cape Henlopen. I'm hoping to get a picture of my own soon.
That's awesome. I was curious about the story leading up to that shot, thanks for sharing. I bet that got your adrenaline pumping a bit, those guys can give you a nasty bump. I've had similar stare-downs with White-tailed Deer over here but I don't know if they could ever be as photogenic as that. Hopefully it gets nominated for Spotting of the Day or something - It's definitely worthy.
Great shot. I wish I had these guys up my way..
Great pictures. This is actually a Northern Green Frog - very similar to the American Bullfrog but distinguishable by the ridge (known as the Supratympanic fold) which runs down the frogs back. The ridge on Green Frogs extends down the length of the back whereas on Bullfrogs it ends at the ear.
