I will have to try again for a better shot (maybe this weekend). I don't have another good one. When I was researching it, I narrowed it down to either a yellow-sided or Needham's.

I once had an iguana named Alfred....
The park is named "The Patuxent Branch Trail" in Columbia, MD. I used a description on the Maryland DNR website to try to identify the dragonfly. I added it above. Thanks!
