They never attacked our dogs, just followed us, we didn't let our dogs chase them; however, other dogs in neighborhood would chase the little coyote and then the other three in the pack would swoop in from their hiding places and surround the dog. If those dogs were being walked, the owner would eventually catch up to the pack and scare them off. The dogs that came running out from a home would get attacked and sometimes killed and eaten if they were smallish dogs.
