I released Snappy yesterday. He was very quick to move on from where I released him. We have a small creek that runs through and out of the development. It connects to the Haw River north of I40. I found an area with a lot of understory plants, and obvious insects residents. I avoided the side with a drop off to the water. He’s already shown no fear of falling off a ledge. He got out of the container we had him in and then dropped 36” to the floor! Then, to show he was none the worse for the fall, he traveled thru the house to our bedroom. Determined little fella.

I'm glad I saw this. I live in Alamance County and I hear these singing all summer. But I've never seen one.
