Sign In to followCongratulations on SOTD. I have seen these birds and they are so tiny, incredible to have such up close shots of them
A belated congratulations on SOTD. Great set of images. Nature never ceases to amaze in the colours and patterns it creates.
One of my all time favourite birds, haven't seen one for 2 decades since I lived in the UK, so thank you for sharing. I always loved how they run straight down trees as easily as other birds go up!
A belated thanks for your comment Robert, my apologies for not including with earlier response.
A lovely series of photos, thanks for sharing.
A belated congratulations for another worthy SOTD!
Hi Daniele
Thanks for the comment. I was trying out the camera on my new phone - really pleased with the results!!
A lovely little bird. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on your SOTW Jim. Six incredible images and all so different, the close up detail on the feathers is beautiful.
Wow! Amazing colours, a shame mankind isn't slighlty more imaginative with naming bugs and creatures - its name does it no justice whatsoever!
