Hi! This is a lovely photo, but I would like to correct the identification. This is not Common Blue (Polyommatus icarus). Common blue does not have any black marks (chequering) in the white margin; i.e. its white margin does not have those little black marks. This butterfly is Adonis Blue (Lysandra bellargus). Hope this is useful!

It would seem from this that my spotting can't be Podarcis vaucheri, as that species is restricted to the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula, and the spotting was made in northern Portugal.
This is actually Marbled White (Melanargia galathea) rather than Balkan Marbled White (M. larissa)
These are lovely photos of Queen of Spain Fritillary (Issoria lathonia). The large shining white-silver spots on the underwings are distinctive. Also the outer margin of the forewing is noticeably concave.
