Nice find! These resemble the larvae of flies in the Stratiomys genus, however I am not 100% sure

Have you considered the genus Megacyllene? Some species like the M. robiniae are quite similar in appearance to your spotting

Some type of Hind Grouper (Epinephelus species). Possibly a Red Hind (E. guttatus) based on the location
