A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
I believe this is a "paintshop" alteration of this species, I don't find any similar species anywhere in the world.
Interesting that this moth is found only from India to Australia, and this spotter report it from Western Sahara, for me it seems like Agrioglypta deliciosa, please add the geographic spot where you found this species, because there is a disconnect between where you pinpoint on the map you found this specimen and where you write you found it. Just a note for the future. https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/202604-...
I find these creatures so intriguing, great spotting!
I think this is the Scarlet Macaw(Ara macao) https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/19022-A...
I understand that it's from a wildlife rescue center, in that case the spotting could also be the Lesser Grison(Galictis cuja) https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/41824-G...
These creatures always catch my attention, just watching them in their own mind, when they move around, analyzing their environment is mind-blowing.
Beautiful series SukanyaDatta, I tried to get photos of them from Sri Lanka, but they're very wary. Maybe next time :)
