A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Photographing wildlife is a hobby of mine, that I truly love. I hope you enjoy my efforts to capture the beauty of creation.
Thanks so much Chris P. I have dozens of owl captures, but this is one of my finest judging from the feedback I have gotten back both here and other places I have shown it.
Aakash, the ID of some birds can be a bit difficult when it comes to subspecies, we can rule out Woodland Kingfisher (Halcyon senegalensis) because it lacks the black on the lower beak. Although I have not studied this bird, I would lean strongly on Halcyon leucocephala
Thanks for sharing the photo, and the great information too! Chris P.
very interesting, someday, I would love to try my hand at underwater photography. Thanks for sharing yours with us, Chris P
very very nice, Chris P
very very nice capture, Chris P
Welcome to Project Noah, I wish I could help you with an ID of your insect, but insects are not my strong suit, especially when it comes to ones from your part of the world. I suspect someone will get you the correct ID shortly.
I would agree with Chief RedEarth when it comes to the ID of this duck.
wonderful quality capture, welcome to Project Noah.
Welcome to Project Noah. I look forward to seeing more of your spottings. From what I see so far, it appears you have a love for birds, like I do.
