Operation ColourFall

Operation ColourFall

Meteorologists predict that record heat and drought conditions in the summer of 2016 will continue to affect us into the fall. It is believed that Ontario, which is typically known for its vibrant fall colours, will experience less colour variation and an early leaf drop. The MacLachlan Woodworking Museum located at beautiful Grass Creek Park (Kingston, ON) challenges you to help us track and record 2016's fall foliage (from August 31st to September 31st) so we can see how climate change is affecting phenology throughout Ontario. Afterall, our museum prides itself on looking after woods. Sign in to join mission
