Stereum species are wood decay fungi that do not have tubes. Usually added to a dead trunk or fallen twig, it outsides often up to 5 cm. Undulated and partially zoned it is covered by 2-3 mm long hairs. The colour is yellow to ochre with a yellow border. It is sometimes grenish in presence of lichens. The underside is yellow-orange . It has no stipe

On a fallen branch in a mixed forest with pine trees and Holm oaks at Dehesa de Valdelatas, Madrid
